The Clam Before the Storm
Tridacna Gigas, I think. Heck, the coming storm is big, why should the clam be as well?
As anticipated, the summer season is a time of quiet preparation for In the Wind. With Sabina touring Still Life through Mexico and Eric preparing to wrangle this year’s Duke City Shootout, we are what you’d call a little short-staffed.
That’s okay. It’s a one man job, the sort of scheming I have to do these days. It will make it easier for the two-, three- and many-man jobs to happen later.
I’m imagining the softest sounds that herald the greatest roars: the faint click of the Big Red Button that ignites a rocket engine, for example. I’m no poet by any stretch, so I will resist the urge to try to elaborate. Just keep your ears open and you’ll hear something.
