Announcing: In the Wind

Posted in Press Releases by Cameron Goble

Noir Chicken Studios proudly announces its first feature film production is officially underway: In the Wind.

Written by playwright Eric Whitmore, and directed by Sabina Zuniga-Varela, In the Wind tells the story of the last family lingering in the last days of a world-turned-occupation-camp. At the edge of oblivion, Paul, Miriam, and Rachael Wallace struggle to retain their humanity in the face of an unknowable enemy.

In the Wind is a micro-budget feature film to be produced by Cameron Goble in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Goble notes, “In the current climate of over-hyped, over-budgeted, imported films, it is vital to remember that New Mexico harbors amazing people who can tell amazing tales.”

“Sabina [Zuniga-Varela] has acted and directed some of the most innovative theatrical productions in town, and Eric [Whitmore] is a powerhouse author,” he continues. “I’m very excited to have their talents on board. We’re going to see something uncanny and unexpected.”

Production of In the Wind begins in September and ends in October 2007. Audition dates will be announced shortly. Updates will be posted to NoirChickenStudios.com/In_The_Wind.
