Jumping Beandito
Heartfelt gratitude — and gratuitous links — to Solidad Hindi at the Jumping Beandito for generously providing In The Wind with a space to rehearse.
I’ve never seen a jumping bean before. The entire space is filled with them. They are fascinating little critters, and they make for a strange space to act in. It goes from eerie to rain-like to background hum as the night goes on, all those little beans hopping around in their shells.
In fact, I just thought of this, the beans are a lot like the wind — ever present, sometimes loud, sometimes soft, and disturbing when it goes away. Interesting. I’ll have to bring that up at rehearsals tonight.
Rehearsals which are being brought to you by Jumping Beandito, may I add! Thanks, Solidad and Joseph!
