Story of In the Wind
In the Wind, a new post-apocalyptic feature film from Noir Chicken Studios, is the story of the last family living on the edge of extinction. They must struggle to retain their humanity in a world dominated by an unknowable enemy, where Mankind has run out of hope.
Paul and Miriam Wallace live in a squalid apartment at the end of the world. Paul labors by day to do the work of a dying species, despairing but still enduring. Miriam maintains a facade of normalcy at home, struggling to recreate a happier time.
When their son’s old girlfriend Rachael seeks refuge from another day of abuse and debasement, Paul decides that he can take no more. The family must move on, try to escape, plan a last desperate move for survival. Perhaps all is not yet lost. There are rumors of a Resistance that still carries on the fight … and their missing son Danny is out there somewhere.
The unknowable enemy of Mankind lurks out there too. But will the Wallaces recognize it when they see it?
In the Wind mixes drama, science fiction, weird horror, and nostalgia into a thought-provoking movie that is rich with enthralling characters and terrifying truths.
